Dr. Samuel Peters is “a man with a heart for God’s people.”  Presiding Bishop, the late Dr. L. H. Ford, ordained him as an Elder of the Church of God in Christ in Chicago, IL. Dr. Peters is a prolific teacher of God’s Word. He has received extensive experience as lead pastor of churches in Newbern, TN and Hayti, MO, and is currently the proud pastor of Wonderful Works Deliverance Center, COGIC, Topeka, KS. As active community members in the Topeka area, Dr. Peters, along with First Lady Sandra Johnson-Peters, oversee 30 community programs. As an extension of the Wonderful Works Deliverance Center ministries: Adams Housing,  providing needed support for men in the surrounding community. A weekday after-school program, which provides meals, free tutoring, and homework support to area youth. All of the programs stretch far and wide in the Topeka area. Dr. Peters believes that Your Past Does NOT Determine Your Future... It's What You Do, Today, That Determines Your Tomorrow. Dr. Samuel Peters is a man of true passion, dedicated to helping and serving others, for God’s glory.

First Lady Peters is a helper of mankind. In fact, that is the meaning of her name. First Lady takes much honor in being the First Lady while giving glory to God for blessing her to be in this role.  First Lady Peters has been saved since the age of 13, but got serious about God around age 16. First Lady’s main goal is to please God in everything she does. Jesus is the center of her joy. First Lady is a witness of living saved not being a STRAIN. First Lady has been a part of COGIC for over 30 years! The Church of God in Christ… is the Pentecostal movement that believes in dancing, singing, and shouting for God. When the spirit gets high, you can catch First Lady dancing for God! First Lady Peters’ daily devotion is “Let the words of my mouth and the mediation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight O Lord, my God, and my redeemer”. If someone comes to you and asks you about First Lady make sure to tell him or her that she is saved, sanctified, and is running for her life. In EVERY situation!
